Because of this, we can afford to be very selective with whom we employ. Each sitter is interviewed, fully reference checked, police checked and trained. It goes without saying that each sitter must absolutely adore cats and have an affinity with them. In addition, each sitter must have extensive experience in dealing with cats (and other small pets) and be knowledgeable in cat health and cat behaviour.  Letitia Smith, 33 years old
Letitia is very excited to have recently (October 09) purchased Kitty Sitter from the businesses inspirational creator Laurie Arrowsmith. For the past eighteen months Letitia has been running a similar business on a smaller scale on the Lower North Shore. She has also worked as a vet nurse at two highly reputable vet hospitals, also on the Lower North Shore, full time and then casually, for the past five years. And of course there has always been a pet (or pets) in her household all her life. Her current little bundle of love being \t5\ryt6u (aka "Denzel", he typed this himself!).

Claire works part time as a Vet Nurse and part time as a Kitty Sitter Cat Sitter. Claire has undertaken animal care and management studies and has a total of 4 years experience as a Vet Nurse. Before joining the Kitty Sitter, Claire already had a background in minding people's pets and houses when they were holidaying. Claire has grown up with a number of pets and currently owns a beautiful kitty called Tillie (pictured).  Petra Starecka , 33 years old
Since childhood Petra has looked after many cats and dogs of her own, her friends and various other people, which has given her great pleasure. Now she is owned by two Ragdoll cats Axl & Shelly and an English Cocker Spaniel dog named Nella. Her animals are adored family pets who know how to melt her heart. She says she is totally addicted to them! Petra is particularly interested in Animal Welfare & Development and is currently studying feline and canine nutrition.  Victoria Brown, 26 years old
Victoria grew up in a house full of cats and dogs and has lived with many interesting pets along the way including rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, birds, turtles, scorpions, snakes and spiders. She has worked as an animal attendant and in a pet shop and has regularly fostered kittens as well as volunteering at the Cat Protection Society. Victoria has a sweet cat who runs the house called Sorro (pictured).  Lindsey Elliott, 24 years old
Lindsey is currently studying to be a Veterinarian at the University of Sydney after years of working as a veterinary assistant in America. As a child she was known as the neighbourhood pet sitter, and now owns an adorable poodle cross named Andre that made the big move with her from
